Welcome back to the first update of 2013!
My new years resolution of sorts was to really get on top of writing about and sharing my work and so here goes - some beautifully faded photographs of my winter break, courtesy of some very expired disposable cameras discovered at my Grandpa’s house in California. Now usually I shy away from disposables and toy cameras, but thanks to a busted X100 charger whilst out in the states I had very little choice but to use them (and sometimes it’s quite enjoyable to take a break from the serious gear I suppose)

So the first part of my trip consisted of a road trip with my friends Emer and Winnie through the desert to Las Vegas in a very questionable rental car.

However by the time we had driven out of Los Angeles and reached the beautiful national park of Joshua Tree we had become quite fond of our ride.

Our awesome desert home wasn’t too bad either.

Soon enough we reached Vegas…

… where I promptly ran out of film.

Back then to San Diego to see my Grandpa Ben

And then soon enough it was Christmas…

And then back home in London I decided to finish off the roll on good old New Year’s Eve:

The end.
