Sorry for the total lack of updates! It’s been a very busy few weeks.
Anyway the good news is I would like to invite anyone reading this to the private view of my Loch Ness exhibition this Thursday evening from 6-9pm at Folk Brick Lane.
It’s the first time my project has been exhibited on this scale before and has a special book edition printed by Ditto Press to accompany the show which will be for sale on the night (more information on that soon)
Anyway come on down to see the work, have some beers and hang out! High-res

I was delighted and thankful to be included in last months Mother Open Books, the poster from which you can see above. It was an awesome evening where I got to share my work with people and hang out with the other awesome photographers featured. Thanks to Mother for having us!
Exciting news and new work coming soon - have a good weekend! High-res

MOTHER LONDON INSTAGRAM

image

I was approached by the awesome London advertising agency Mother to be the featured photographer of the week and take over their Instagram.
I’m going to be spending my time armed with the Mother iPhone and my beagle puppy companion Poncho exploring one of London’s most beautiful spaces - Hampstead Heath.

Come see my photographs and join in the fun over at Mother Instragram

P.s. First the disposable cameras in the post below, this week on the iPhone, I’ll be back to proper work on proper cameras soon I promise!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Welcome back to the first update of 2013!

My new years resolution of sorts was to really get on top of writing about and sharing my work and so here goes - some beautifully faded photographs of my winter break, courtesy of some very expired disposable cameras discovered at my Grandpa’s house in California. Now usually I shy away from disposables and toy cameras, but thanks to a busted X100 charger whilst out in the states I had very little choice but to use them (and sometimes it’s quite enjoyable to take a break from the serious gear I suppose)

So the first part of my trip consisted of a road trip with my friends Emer and Winnie through the desert to Las Vegas in a very questionable rental car.

However by the time we had driven out of Los Angeles and reached the beautiful national park of Joshua Tree we had become quite fond of our ride.

Our awesome desert home wasn’t too bad either.

Soon enough we reached Vegas…

Back then to San Diego to see my Grandpa Ben

And then soon enough it was Christmas…

And then back home in London I decided to finish off the roll on good old New Year’s Eve:

The end.
